First point of contact of people questions and concerns ensuring outstanding customer focus by delivering value-add, best in class (HR) support: Be a strategic partner; Provides guidance to leadership and employees on company policy, practices, and local employment laws, conducts internal workplace investigations, and manages employee performance issues;
Partnership with other HR functions: Total Rewards (C&B), Talent Acquisition, HR Operations, to ensure processes run smoothly;
Work directly with Managers in all departments to support them in effectively managing their teams and managing performance;
Adopt and adapt existing DXC practices & policies, developing local approaches to manage an effective regional HR function and ensure alignment of HR related programs, processes and projects with strategic business objectives;
Be a reference for Union related matters in alignment with local labor laws: leads and defines the strategy with the Union in compliance with local laws and in coherence with the business objectives. Develop and maintain good relations with unions and other worker representatives in order to resolve issues promptly and proactively;
Develop leaders through ongoing coaching and feedback.
