Job Description
We are looking for a LATAM-based Sr DevOps Engineer to work with one of our US-based clients, which is a leading provider of digital educational services to colleges, universities, corporations and businesses, including higher education programs, professional training and certifications, test preparation and student support services.We are seeking up to new engineers to work on a learning technology platform. Our client provides a broad array of learning services, supporting students and partners to meet their diverse and evolving needs throughout their educational and professional journeys. Among the services provided are test preparation and performance training, which are offered in the market under various brands.In this role you will:- Providing architecture and design support of the Linux, windows, cloud and container environments
- Set various development and administration standards for the clients Production and development systems
- Driving automation, design development and other solutions in a comprehensive manner to boost operational efficiency
- Collaborating between development and IT teams to scale cloud solution, create workflow processes and ensure quality of releases
- Planning integrations and additions across many systems and environments
- Troubleshooting critical site events and documenting root cause analysis
- Providing recommendations on approaches to troubleshooting and resolution of site and production issues
- Learning about and gathering new technologies and related tools to introduce to the company in order to grow the agile development environment
You’re the one if you have:- 7+ years progressive experience working with Azure
- 5+ years experience with CI
- Strong experience with Docker and Kubernetes
- Extensive experience with automation tools and processes
- Extensive experience with scripting languages like Bash and Powershell
- Working knowledge of programming languages
- Familiarity with agile methodologies such as Scrum and Kanban
- Good communication skills both in English and Spanish
It’s a plus if you have:- Experience writing small snippets of code in many different languages
