What you'll do:

• Manage the community in Argentina, both online on social media channels like Discord and X, and in-person at events, meetups, meetings with local partners.
• Organize and coordinate online community events online on Discord and in-person.
• Manage and moderate community sentiment on Discord and help build a healthy, engaged, spirited community.
• Collaborate with management to develop and implement an effective communications strategy based on our target audience.
• Identify local brand and media partners.
• Respond to media inquiries for the organization in Argentina.
• Seek opportunities to enhance the reputation of the brand, and coordinate publicity events as required.
• Maintain records of local media coverage and collate analytics and metrics.
• Manage the logistics for targeted press events to support launches, brand moments, events, etc.

• Protect the community from bots, scams and other malicious actors.
• Constantly learn, research, and experiment with new community building ideas.
• Manage governance and solicit feedback on new community proposals.
• Monitor and highlight insights within our community that can be helpful to our product and engineering teams.
• Measure and report on the success of community growth and engagement initiatives with qualitative and quantitative data.

Requirements

• Experience in a similar position, particularly related to community growth and management
• Native proficiency in Spanish and strong written English skills
• Enthusiasm for and knowledge of web3 and crypto communities.
• Embedded in the local tech and crypto communities.
• Strong written communication skills, with the ability to adapt your style to the audience,.
• Enjoy working in a fast-paced environment and want to work in a start-up with high ambition.

Benefits

This is a contract position offering up to $2500 USD a month.
