English Tutor Remote
Job Description
We are seeking Remote English Tutors who reside anywhere in Argentina to join our team and make a difference in global education. Our expanding team is focused on demonstrating our core values which foster continuous learning and development.
We offer holistic training and continuous development to ensure you are the best tutor you can be and we provide a dedicated 24-hour support team to assist you in every step of your teaching journey.
Start Date:
• Immediate upon completion of the recruitment and training process
Available shifts:
Guaranteed approximately 10 - 30 hours per week depending on your shift.
Experience:
• Experience is preferred, but we offer extensive training for all candidates, so don't be shy to apply if you have never taught.
Key Responsibilities:
• Provide guidance while delivering English lessons to a group of students
• Engage and encourage students positively
• Manage a classroom and provide feedback to students on their language proficiency
• Guide students in their English journey
Job Specification
Minimum requirements:
• High School Diploma is required.
• Bachelor’s Degree preferred.
• 120 TEFL/TESOL/CELTA certificate is required.
• Native English Speaker (Accent Neutral).
• Computer literate.
• Excellent communication skills.
Technical Requirements:
PC specifications?:
• Processor: Intel ® Core™ i5 CPU @2.40GHz (4 CPUs) or greater?
• Memory: 8GB RAM or greater
Backup power applicable to individuals living in countries that experience power outages/blackouts?:
• Uninterrupted Power Supply (UPS) with a battery life up to?4-5 hours?(2000VA) (or willing to purchase before commencing teaching)?. This is a non-negotiable requirement.
• A separate mini power supply system to power your fibre router as an independent system.
Internet Connection:
• A stable FIBRE internet connection?- at a minimum of 20 mbps upload and download speeds?
• PC is connected via a LAN cable and not via a Wi-Fi connection?
Other:
• Noise-cancelling headsets and HD web camera.?
• Tidy, well-lit, and quiet teaching environment
