We’re seeking a back-end developer who is ready to work with new technologies and architectures in a creative, collaborative, fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate has experience building solutions across the stack and a firm understanding of web frameworks, APIs, databases, and multiple back-end languages. The back-end developer will join a small team to help us build a unique, effective, and one-of-a-kind platform for delivering teacher-powered language training to the corporate English training market.

Requirements

Required Skills and Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain our company's web applications.
• Work with other members of the engineering team to ensure that our applications meet the needs of our users
• Stay up-to-date on the latest programming languages, frameworks, and database technologies including; HTML, HTML5, CSS, JavaScript, PHP, Symfony, Angular.js, MySQL, PostgreSQL
• Troubleshoot and debug code and participate in code reviews
• Work with graphic designers to create user interfaces.
• Document code
